Brashear hosted the Sturgeon baseball team Tuesday. Things got off to a rocky start for the Tigers as Sturgeon scored 5 runs in the top of the 1st. Things looked better for the Tigers as back-to-back homeruns from Austin Peterson and Brandon Jochimsen in the 3rd closed the deficit to 7-3. It continued to look like Brashear might have a chance at a comeback until Sturgeon slammed the door with 6 runs in the 7th to claim a 15-6 win. Austin Peterson had 3 hits for Brashear, Quin Allen had 2, and Brandon Jochimsen, Aden Zentz, and Garrett Housman also had hits. Levi Blankenship got the start with Colton Sayre, Garrett Housman, and Austin Peterson pitching in relief.
